What are your favorite hobbies?

I’m obsessed with reading—there’s always a book (or two) on my nightstand (and a Kindle nearby!). I also have a large garden, and if there isn’t too much snow, you’ll find me outside tending to it. Gardening is one of my favorite ways to relax and recharge.

Why did you choose a career in Human Resources? 

I’ve always had a passion for helping others and creating supportive, people-centered environments—HR felt like a natural fit.

What is your current job / career?

I’m the Administrative Assistant to the Director at the Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County, where I also serve as the HR contact for staff.

What is your greatest personal accomplishment?

Raising my children while balancing a career I love—and recently passing my SHRM-CP exam!

I joined to connect with local HR professionals, grow my knowledge, and stay current with best practices in the field.
